Cracking summer day by the lake

We had looked at several lake taupo motel before we found one that we both agreed on. Actually I agreed to stay pretty much anywhere, it was my wife who was not to keen on some of them. Anyway, we checked in to a place and then headed for the lake. It was a cracking summer day on the lake, there were loads of people out on boats and water skiing, lots of people swimming and just as many were enjoying the lake side restaurants. This was our first trip here and I can certainly see why it is such a popular place, we will definitely be returning for our next vacation.
