The Joy of Giving is Thanks Enough
No one has ever sent me thank you gifts but I never dwell on that fact. Whenever an occasion arises that I think warrants a gift, I am on my way to the store or online to locate the perfect gift. My husband tells me that I should stop doling out the gifts being that I never get any in return but I explain every time, that it is not about getting in return it is about the joy that I get from giving. No matter what, I will continue to give gifts for all occasions and continue to enjoy the act itself.
