Relatives From Over Seas

My husband Tom is originally from Israel, this past week he decided to fly in some of his relatives from Israel. All of this relatives gathered at our home and began discussing current issues in Israel. One issue that really stuck out to me was the Israel divorce law. This law has been getting better but it still has its problems. For instance Tom’s mother commented how when she was going through a divorce with Tom’s father 20 years ago, the courts refused to grant her assets that were rightfully hers. In addition, the males were the superior race in their country. However his mother did comment on how much better the law was getting.
