Mathematically – F (x, y) = {color – if F (x, y) lies in threshold limit White – if F (x, y) does not lie in threshold limit} Filtering of image is done with respect to frequency characteristics. The filter may be a low (frequency) pass filter or a high (frequency) pass filter.
