Bunions

Bunions are enlargements on the side of the big toe joint of the foot. They are more common in female, but they do occur in male; they are more common in older people, but do occur in younger people; they are more common in those that wear shoe, but do occur in those that do not wear shoes; they are more common in those that wear tighter fitting shoes, but can occur in those that wear good fitting shoes. They also tend to be more painful in females, in older people, in those that wear shoes, particularly tight shoes.
