vBulletin Spam

Spam is becoming an increasing problem on forums. Spammers are joining up to drop signature and profile links to their web sites and to post messages promoting their products. In particular, vBulletin spam is getting worse as this is the most popular forum software in use today. There are software programs that sole purpose is to register a user at millions of forums and leave their link to their website in the profile. Some of the programs even automatically post messages in these forums. The developer of vBulletin have had to come up with many ways to deal with this spam.
