From news to wedding photojournalist

My friend from college was a very successful press photographer for many years.  Since the newspaper industry started to shrink and go bankrupt, he’s had to venture into other areas of photography.  Many years ago, he started to work as a wedding photojournalist on the side.  Now that there isn’t much of a market in news photography, he has a good base and portfolio to work in the wedding industry full time.  It’s great that creative people can always find work in different markets and the transition seems to fit him very well, he’s a real people person.
